NICK GODDARD-PALMER FIH

Nick is the co-founder of Hunter Palmer - Global Retail Solutions, a strategic partnership created to identify opportunities and actively drive new innovation and business ideas (that are often discussed but rarely implemented). An advocate of “action speaks louder than words”, he has been involved in the creation of many successful airport retail developments and looks to bring pragmatic and viable solutions to a changing industry.

Originally from the historic city of Bath, his early career started within the culinary world of Michelin and Relais et Châteaux, learning his trade in some of England’s finest hotels and restaurants, before embarking upon an exciting overseas career.

With over 25 years’ international experience he has a comprehensive knowledge of retail and hospitality management, specialising in effectively project managing, opening and operating award-winning businesses across diverse international environments.

Nick’s wealth of experience in leading commercial strategy projects has been accumulated through leading the impressive Hamad International Airport F&B programme (SKYTRAX 5th World’s Best Airport for Dining 2017), as CEO of DDFS at Indira Gandhi International airport, Delhi and as project development manager for Cyprus airports.

Nick not only excels in terms of strategic thinking, but also enjoys producing unprecedented results within each of these arenas, making him an indispensable asset as a professional, consultant or creative advisor to any multi-million-dollar development project.

In his spare time, Nick enjoys keeping fit, travelling with the family, exploring different cultures, meeting new people and time permitting, Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Nick is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality.
