For an airport, there's no denying that building an in-house retail brand is hard. It can be risky and needs a great team to deliver it with the required punch to be successful. However, a home-grown concept can be very rewarding financially and I consider it to be integral to any operator's mix if they want to build a long-term commercial vision for the airport.
